What is a 20th anniversary tradition?
From what I know, flowers are not counted among traditional or modern anniverary gifts; material goods and gems are. (Note: see correction below.)
For the 20th wedding anniversary:
Traditional: china.
Modern: china or platinum.
You can look at china patterns and see which flowers are traditionally featured, and then give your spouse a bouquet of those flowers.
Addendum: these websites say that day lilies are the appropriate flower for the 20th wedding anniverary.
